Wings & Fried Rice Are An Excellent Combo
That's right, we said it. The Piper Inn, long known for its signature wings also serves some of the best Chinese dishes around. Wondering how things like fried rice, egg rolls, chow mein and egg foo young made it on our menu? In 1981, Rich, the son of the founder Ray Levin, leased the kitchen to the Mahs -- a Chinese family -- and word soon got out that, Kenny Mah, was a skilled cook. Thus, the Piper Inn started serving a full Cantonese menu alongside its American fare making it one of the most unique places in Denver. Try our chicken fried rice and Asian wings and you'll never go back!
A family-run Denver icon for over 50 years, the Piper Inn prides itself on quick, friendly service, cold beer and the best wings in Denver. For over 50 years the Piper Inn has been a friendly neighborhood bar. The Piper Inn opened during a time when rural farmers from the now Denver and Aurora area rode their horses to the bar. The hitching post was located near what is now the carwash meanwhile planes used to land at a dirt airstrip across the way; hence the name Piper Inn.
The Piper Inn has been a mainstay and is considered by many to be a historical landmark. After being through many area developments it still attracts people from all walks of life.
