The CX-5 Is Ushering in a New Era with a New Look

After all the events that have taken place in 2020, who wouldn't want a makeover? The Mazda CX-5 has revamped itself to boast a new standard 10.3-inch infotainment screen within all its models, but the tweaks don't stop there.

Above the standard CX-5 Sport is the CX-5 Touring. This plush SUV tacks on heated front seats, leatherette upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, and two USB charging points for rear-seat riders.

The all-new CX-5 Carbon Edition joins the middle of the trim range and offers trim-specific design details inside and out. This variant features Polymetal Gray exterior paint with black mirrors and black 19-inch wheels, as well as head-turning red leather seats and black honeycomb interior trim. Drivers can get this model with either the standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 187 hp and 186 lb-ft of torque or the optional turbocharged 2.5-liter four that makes 227 hp and 310 lb-ft (250 hp and 320 lb-ft on premium fuel).

The CX-5 Grand Touring offers a power moonroof, leather seats, and a 7.0-inch digital gauge display. This model is available only with the base engine.

Meanwhile, the Grand Touring Reserve comes exclusively with the turbo. What makes this model stand out is that it showcases a head-up display.
