A Look at the Available Powertrains

New information about the 2024 Mazda CX-90 has been released. Set to arrive in the Spring of 2023, the new model will have a starting MSRP of $39,595. With 3 powertrains and 11 trims to choose from, the CX-90 has options for everyone!

As mentioned, there are three available powertrains to choose from. These are the CX-90 3.3 Turbo S, CX-90 PHEV, and CX-90 3.3 Turbo. Let's break these down a little bit further.

CX-90 3.3 Turbo S: This engine features the e-Skyactiv G 3.3L Inline 6 Turbo. It can reach a horsepower of 340 and 369 lb-ft of torque when using premium fuel. The estimated EPA is 23 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and 25 mpg combined.

CX-90 PHEV: This version uses the e-Skyactiv powertrain. It features an electric motor paired with a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine. Together, they produce a horsepower of 323 and 369 lb-ft of torque on premium fuel.

CX-90 3.3 Turbo: This option uses a standard e-Skyactiv 3.3L Turbo engine that can achieve 280 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque while using regular fuel. The estimated EPA is 24 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and 25 mpg combined.

All of these options come standard with features that make for an excellent and safe driving experience, such as i-Activ AWD. Standard i-Activsense safety features include Smart City Brake Support, Blind Spot Monitoring, and more.
