It's no secret that Mazda's been making some bold moves in the last few years. Recent Mazda models have made some serious upmarket moves, cementing Mazda as a brand that offers premium vehicles at affordable costs.

Information has started to circulate about some of Mazda's upcoming endeavors, and things are looking exciting! One of the most anticipated prospects is the all-new Mazda6, which is slated to debut in March 2022.  This sedan will move to a rear-wheel-drive layout and feature a new inline-six engine that's sure to take its performance to the next level.

These new 3.0-liter six-cylinder engines will use the brand's SkyActiv-X tech in conjunction with Spark Controlled Compression Ignition along with a supercharger and a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. With these specs, drivers can expect the car to reasonably pass 300 horsepower.

Each of these changes is a significant stride in Mazda's mission to corner the premium market. Given the forecast for the next few years, we can confidently say that the future is looking Mazda.
