Mazda recently celebrated its 100th birthday in January this year, and the future is looking good for the innovative car manufacturer. Although 2020 has been a year full of disruptions and surprises, Mazda is looking confidently towards the future with its upcoming lineup for the next few years. Let's take a look at some upcoming Mazda models!

Fans of the Mazda CX-3 and the Mazda CX-5 have a lot to look forward to. Upcoming models are scheduled to arrive in 2021 and come with a host of improvements. Chief among these is the addition of Mazda's SkyActiv2 platform, which marks an exciting new chapter for the brand's performance and engine efficiency.

If Mazda's e-mobility options are more your speed, keep an eye out for their next iteration of electric vehicles. A new model that uses a Wankel engine as a range extender is close on the horizon. While it will likely share a lot of design elements with the Mazda CX-30 and Mazda MX-3, drivers can expect this to be its own unique experience. The project is tentatively been labeled as the Mazda RX-30, but that is subject to change.

North American drivers can look forward to a special SUV line that's due to arrive in the 2022 model year. While details are still emerging, it looks like it will be one of the flagship models from Mazda's and Toyota's upcoming US plant in Huntsville, Alabama.
